Definitely stay at the winning post again 👍🏻 room was great nice comfy beds with fridge an microwave👍🏻,tea,coffee,and cereal provided for breakfast and also excellent when I accidentally locked myself out of our room 🤣🤣 nice an friendly staff great for a family with kids thank you 100% will be booking back here on our next stay in blackpool

We had a warm welcome on arrival and everything was explained to us. We stayed in room 7which is a good size and clean, it had a fridge and microwave in the room which was handy. We had a continental breakfast which was a big bonus for us plus in the day you can go and make drinks as well as having tea/ coffee facilities in your room.We will definitely come back as it’s very good value for money.

Easy to gain access, rooms were clean and was quiet at night. Perfect for kids and free street parking

Very nice comfortable and very clean .room was a bit small but again everything you need . Tea coffee toast cereal was available in the morning which was a blessing when got children.

Myself and my 14 year old son stayed for one night, place was lovely and in a great location not far away from the pleasure island. Friendly welcome on arrival by a lovely gentleman. Room was spacious with everything you could possible need for a short stay, towel', iron, microwave, fridge, tea,coffee,sugar. The beds were clean and comfy with great pillows and comfy throws. The hotel was quiet and nice and warm. Continental breakfast was available with extra tea, coffee and sugar for the room if needed. Would 100% recommend. We had a great night

Lovely hotel. As a family of 5, we stayed in room 8 and it was great. Clean and spacious. The only thing I would say could be improved is there was no face to face interaction at all with any staff during our stay, any communication had with staff was through messages but other than this we really enjoyed our stay.

This winning post was great. Easy self check in. Place was clean, room was decent size for myself, husband, 7year old and 3 year old. Ensure bathroom, towels and toiletries provided aswell as tv, fridge, microwave, kettle with tea and coffee. Also tells you in your welcome pack that although they don't provide hot meals, there in free cereals and toast in the communal lounge area which I seen people make use off. Handy to feed the kids before checkout. Staff were also friendly.

We had everything we needing, WiFi was poor but was okay as we weren’t there to be on our phones. Came and went as we pleased. Room was very hot fan would have been great. 10 stars from us we will return will call direct as I think booking.com was a bit over priced.

Very friendly staff always checking we had no issues, breakfast was help your self worked well for my children. Close to the prom, parked in the church 5 min walk away for 12 pound for 2 days thought was reasonable. Beds comfy enough for a few nights. We would return

Myself and 4 children stayed here for rhe weekend. The deluxe family room was perfect for us and on the ground floor. The beds were so comfy amd the place was spotless. The complimentary breakfast was great for us amd the staff just lovely. We would definitely come back here and recommend to others.

Check in was very easy and well organised. The hotel and room itself was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay.. we stayed in room 4 which was a double room but had plenty of room, storage space, little extras like a fan as the weather was warm and a lovely en suite bathroom.The location is perfect and roughly a 15 minute walk to the Blackpool tower..the hotel is set back slightly from the evening noise and we slept very well :)we would highly recommend the hotel and would absolutely stay here again.

Just enjoyed a 2 day break in Blackpool with my 2 teenage children staying at The Winning Post. We were all happy with the B & B and didn’t have any complaints at all. Although, it doesn’t provide a cooked breakfast l was obviously aware of this when l booked it and many places to obtain a cooked breakfast not too far away to walk. Although, we didn’t use it l thought it was a nice touch that they still offer their guests complimentary cereal and toast though. Even better, toiletries and towels were provided in the front room for you just to collect at your convenience, better than having to ask someone.Our room on the top floor felt a little small for the 3 of us but it was ok for 3 days and the beds were comfortable. Also, pleased to have a tiny fridge to use in the room and an iron.We would definitely stay again. Thank you

We stayed for one night 2 adults 1 child. The room was clean, the owners were having some kind of emergency a leak I think but they sorted out our keys and room straight away. Good value for money, close to the tram stop to get anywhere you want inblackpool and not far away from a tesco express if you need anything. The next morning I left my phone in the room without realising and we handed the keys in. The young lady who must've checked the room came running down the road with my phone! Bless her thank you! we could have been half way home before I realised I'd forgotten it. We will be back thanks again!

Very clean room and modern, everything u need in the room with extras available available to help yourself, amazing pillows slept really well, also allowed us to check in early, great value for money and there was parking at the end of the street £10 for 24 hours,would highly recommend the winning post.

I was lucky I had a family room i was alone the room and bathroom a perfect 10 ..ideal for families and couples I would say perfect for couples and families.i stayed on my own but wud normally be with my wife..this bnb hotel is a 5 star transformation on the old winning would easily smash 4 in abed ...a big thank you to daisy very helpful

When booking hotels at blackpool, I'm always very unsure especially when reading the different levels of reviews.But at The Winning Post the reviews are all true😊On arriving the hotel smelt lovely and so did our room. The bedding and towels smelt so fresh and clean. There were tea, coffee, sugar, milk & even biscuits in the rooms.You could help yourself to it all, when needed to top up, from a room downstairs.There was seating you could watch the big tv, even a microwave. Just everything you needed.Lovely and quiet at night just as we like it.👌Shower was a bit slow but get that in most hotels.Would definitely stay here again😀

This is our second visit to the Winning Post and it was just as good this time.It's 80 mtrs from the prom and tram stops, but in a quieter location.The rooms are clean, well equipped and comfortable and the decor is simple but modern. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts we couldn't ask for more, so a big thank you Winning Post from the Wingfield family.

This now is our 4th visit to this hotel.We love to come here for the location and the closeness of the car park but not only tbst the hotel is immaculately clean as soon as you walk through the door the freshness hits your nose check in is very easy at the hotel hosts pre message you to give you the front door code and your room number code ..the bedrooms are decorated to a good modern taste and beds and pillows are astonishingly comfortable..fluffy towels and toiletries ate provided and laid out on your bed tea and coffee and biscuits in abundance ..the owners are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them ..I wouldn't choose to stay anywhere else in Blackpool now and we definitely we will be coming back

Lovely clean hotel and very welcoming.Rooms are lovely beds comfy. Please be careful.when using the shower or hot water as it is scalding hot. Burnt my hand trying to turn it off. Not to keen on room only option as there no place nearby to have breakfast.

This was my first holiday without my parents and this hotel made it the best possible holiday ever, staff were so attentive and polite and the room was immaculate! Will definitely be coming back here

We stayed at the winning post for the weekend Friday to Monday, we had a disaster of a start to our weekend with the car breaking down so didn’t arrive till 9.30pm but when we did get there we had easy access with a txt message of instructions with codes and where to get our keys, room was perfect for me my mother and my 4 year old daughter, we had no problems at all during our stay and the staff always asking if we where ok and if we needed anything, we had the best time down for my daughters first time and can’t fault a single thing with staying here everything was brilliant and would highly recommend, if we’re back down we will defo use the winning post again.

Fantastic place usual blackpool sort of rooms but with comfortable bed a shower that actually works with hot water lol mini fridge unlimited tea coffee sugar cardboardcups plates forks ect can't rate the place enough for a boackpool hotel they have more than the expensive hotels chains thanks for a lovely stay

Had,a,great time very comfortable, friendly,clean,couldn't fault the owners, would definitely come back and highly recommend to family and friends, 5 stars all the way,

Within an hour of arriving, we decided to stay an extra night as it felt so comfortable, and colin made every effort to accommodate us for that extra night, which made the whole family really happy. The staff, especially daisy, always made sure the rooms were extremely clean and was very friendly to chat to. Colin asked each and every time he saw us, if we needed anything, and if everything was ok. Really friendly staff, and the hotel was soo clean! Our rooms smelt beautiful. The bonus of a fridge, and fans in our rooms was a plus! And the microwave that's in the lounge area makes meals so easy for bigger families that would of needed to go buy dinner out otherwise. The beach is literally at the end of the street, which is about a minute or 2 walk away. They even allowed us to keep our bags in the lounge area after checkout as we could only be picked up after 3. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you want your stay to feel homely and safe. And we are looking forward to staying again!

Our stay was very comfortable. We arrived after 18:00 and was greeted and given keys by a lovely gentlemen. Our rooms were very clean too and there was a lovely smell all the way through the stairs and our room.The tea and coffee and biscuits that is given to you in your room was a nice touch too, even downstairs there’s a tea and coffee station.Love the little room in the front downstairs it’s a nice little area to sit before going to your room.Thank you for making our stay comfortable we will return if we come back to Blackpool for sure x

I stayed with my 12 year old daughter and we had a fantastic time staying in your hotel. It was very safe, clean and very comfortable and lovely decor. The bed was brilliant and such a lovely room. It was brilliant to have a fan and the the pillows and duvet and the bed was very comfortable.We loved our stay and the staff were very kind. It was really good having the as much tea coffee as needed and free bottles of water. And being able to sit and watch tv in the lounge with free coffee and tea machine. We would definitely stay again and it was brilliant for children.

Well where to start!We had the most amazing time vistingthe winning post again for our week stay. First impressions always last the longest. We were warmly welcomed right from the start. And we received help with getting luggage up the stairs to our room.Our room was neat and cozy.Colin and staff were very friendly and informative.The Winning Post is true to its name.Our only complaint is that our stay was too short. Thisproperty was perfect for the price we paid. Comfortable beds and very clean, very easy check in. Location was great literallyat the end of street tram stop and parking available a short distance from property at a cost of £10 for 24 hours so for us on a short weekendbreak was perfect. Only gripe was we couldn't connect our devices to the WiFi but I'm sure if we has asked for some assistance on the telephone number provided we could have resolved it but to be honest was a nice break away from the Internet.Room was quite small for two adults and a 12 and 13 year old but cant be helped.This property has restored my faith in blackpoolafter a bad experience last year.Great tea and coffee making facilitiesWill definitely be back.

Stayed a couple of nights and this was ideal for what we wanted, which was to come and go as we pleased, room and bed was comfy, no views but we just wanted a place to sleep, nice touch was small cool box in the room and although we didn't use it the lounge downstairs which was stocked with tea and coffee was a place you could eat a takeaway and relax, and a bench out front and we did use it to sit and have a drink. We would stop here again as it suits our needs of what we want when visiting Blackpool.

We stayed here for my birthday on friday till Sunday and we was actually surprised when we got there. Nice little hotel the room where stunning and spacious, nice big telly normally they are tiny, the bed and the pillows was literally comfier than my bed ha. Definitely come back the only reason I didn't give 5 star as we didn't meet any staff/managers to just have that welcoming feeling other than that it was a very good stay

I was a bit sceptical when I booked this room, but the photos looked pretty promising, I have to say I made a great choice! My room was gorgeous!Very modern, VERY clean!, TV with Sky Box and an extra large comfortable bed!I would stay there again and I highly recommend it!

Large enough room for a family of 5 and no concerns with cleanliness. The room had all the basics such a tea, coffee, kettle etc. Plus a TV for the kids to watch before bed. The mattresses were very comfy as were the pillows. The fact there isn't a bar inside the property was one of the main reasons we booked as we didn't want noise going on late into the night and i can confirm this place was very quiet and peaceful on a night time which can be a rarity in Blackpool. They do not serve food here but this was no problem for us as we knew we would be eating out for all our meals. There is a large lounge downstairs in the property which you are able to take your own outside food into to eat should you wish, rather than eating in your room. In summary, it is a comfortable and family friendly place to stay in Blackpool. It is not meant to be designer or boutique but rather a safe and comfortable place to stay when in Blackpool so you are close enough to the attractions but not disturbed by the noise and commotion of Blackpool. I am being realistic when I say it is basic and I don't mean that in a bad way at all. If you and your family are looking for somewhere as as a base for a few days in Blackpool then this is it.

Hotel is in a perfect location, tram stops at bottom of road, but also an easy walk to attractions. Room was lovely, clean, very comfortable, rooms dressed beautifully, great amenities and very affordable. Staff are lovely, very helpful and approachable. Premises and room are very secure. Would highly recommend.

This is our second stay, everything just as good, in fact better than the previous. Same room as before, this time the tea and coffee supplies, plus disposable masks are all in entrance hall if you need more. Umbrellas to borrow if the weather is bad.Will return again

Brilliant friendly service from start to finish. As a family of 5 we can find it difficult to fit everyone In the same room but we had plenty of space and very comfortable

Our stay was excellent. Great location to walk to all the places we wanted to go to, lovely cosy comfy room, great shower, encouraged to help yourself to more towels if needed and more tea coffee etc, as well as what was already by the kettle in the room. Nice that there was a mini fridge in the room also. Comfy bed, iron, mini ironing board, hair dryer also great. Friendly staff. Had a great stay!

I booked The Winning Post as a last minute break, mainly based on the Booking.com rating and the cost. When we arrived, we were not disappointed. The whole establishment was very clean and tidy, out room was spotless, I normally pull the bed apart looking for any hairs or dirt before I get in, but this is the first place I have not done that. There were plenty of tea/coffee/sugar in the room, and more downstairs if required. I liked the fact there were ironing facilities in the room along with a hairdryer (as I had forgotten mine), so we did not have to go looking for anyone to ask. I would definitely recommend The Winning Post, and we will definitely be booking again.

Stayed here for a night with my daughter, very organised on arrival. The room was spot on, very clean and well decorated. The beds were clean and very comfy. I would definitely stay again!

We booked two family rooms as we were travelling with four adults and four children.The rooms were exactly as promised,clean and warm and just what we needed.Staff who were available on site, were friendly and helpful.We are hoping to book again when we return to Blackpool next year.

We arrived late (11pm) and self service check in was quick and simple. The place smelt lovely and was perfectly clean.Our room was pleasant, we stayed in room 6 top floor family room with a single & double bed. Our beds were comfy and plenty bedding etc. Radiator in room, the room was lovely and warm when we arrived.The complimentary biscuits/tea/coffee etc were a nice touch. Unlimited access on the ground floor to top up and get fresh clean towels. Wifi was on and off but kids were happy when it was working.We did have an issue with shower pressure so although we were able to get a warm shower it was under a slow spray. The owners provided us with free parking throughout our stay which was a welcomed compromise given the difficulty to park in the centre. Both owners couldn't of been more helpful. A plumber did arrive the morning I mentioned the issue with the shower but a part was needed outside of the weekend, this really did not impact my overall opinion on the Winning Post itself. These things happen!Location is perfect. A 2 minute walk to St Chads tram stop which takes you to all the main attractions. The 2 minute walk leads you to the promenade / illuminations etc.Lovely little communal living area with sofas and a TV, we never used it but a nice space if you wanted to watch Netflix or some Sky channels. TVs in room were tiny, most people probably dont come to Blackpool to stay in their rooms and watch TV but we did (gale force winds and torrential downpours - typical Blackpool) (!!!Remote control could do with a clean!!!)Colin couldnt of been more helpful coming in from the rain and tumble dried our coats for the next day.Both Danielle and Colin are very welcoming and were a text away from any request I had.I would 100% recommend The Winning Post and would also return if I was to come back to Blackpool.Thank you so much.

We have ran bed and breakfast accommodation ourselves in Blackpool.We found ourselves needing to stay over so booked the winning post as we don't really like using big hotels and prefer independents.This is ran right you do your registration details on line let yourselves in via key boxes. you get a hello text on the morning of your stay explaining everything to you. place is spotlessly clean with a nice feel to it throughout. The air purifiers on stair areas are amazing lve now ordered one they make place smell so fresh and clean too.very generous portions of tea and coffee and milk in room. lovely quality bedding and towels very comfortable bed and amazing pillows.lovely idea of brolleys hanging in hall you can borrow and we needed them on Sunday nightDanielle and Colin you are doing an amazingjob and run a great place. best wishes Julez and Gaz

Room was very clean & fresh, modern decor, easy access to extra tea, coffee, towels and toilet rolls if needed. Short walk to the beach front. All in all a excellent stay.

This is now the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel and will definitely be coming back again. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the room was decorated modern and tasteful.The bed was comfortable and possibly the best pillows I've ever slept on in a hotel tea coffee and biscuits are in abundance not just one cup each..A lovely hotel with lovely people that run it ..would definitely recommend a visit.

Booked a one night stay in the top floor family room, was a quick trip to Blackpool to do the tower and then the Pleasure Beach with the kids and this hotel was perfectly placed for both.Clean, well appointed, plenty of towels, tea, coffee etc.. all the things you would hope for and really smooth contactless check in as well.Would heartily recommend, and would stay again if back in the centre of Blackpool!

Great place to stay, clean and modern, very Covid safe too, plenty of tea, coffee, milk, spare towels etc, even face masks if you have forgotten them. The check in process is so simple and quick, no human contact at all. Our room wasnt huge but had everything we needed, comfy bed and pillows, will definitely stay again when back in Blackpool.

The hotel was lovely, recently renovated by the look of it. Very clean and functional room, big and really comfy bed. Contactless check in, parking was extra but cheaper than the big car parks. The host were lovely, checking we were ok enough, but not intrusive with it. The TV lounge was lovely too, even had a guest Netflix account. In all a great break here and would return and recommend to anyone

Couldn’t fault this hotel! The beds were so comfortable, 2mins to the promenade front, turn left and it’s 5minutes to the pleasure beach and turn right your heading towards central pier etc. Easy check in and staff were friendly. The room also had tea/coffee facilities, tv and towels which was a bonus. Would definitely return ??

I recently travelled up from Scotland with a man I care for. Was a good place to stay, staff very friendly and not overbearing like places Iv stayed before. Was very clean and comfortable & has everything you need. Good location also, a 5 minute walk from the football stadium & close to tram stop & pleasure beach. Next time I return to Blackpool I will be booking here again.

Stayed here with my husband for our wedding anniversary and it was a lovely clean hotel with comfortable room and en suite. Plenty of tea and coffee making facilities and towels available and only 5mins from the beach and around 10mins walk from pleasure beach. Friendly, helpful and kind staff would highly recommend :)

I travelled as a single woman with my little boy. I picked the winning post predominantly because it looked like a safe place to stay, and my main concern was being somewhere we’d feel safe and comfortable. That was absolutely achieved with this place. The owners were lovely, friendly but not overbearing. The entrance to the main entrance was via a security code. The property was quiet.Location wise, is close enough to both walk to the pleasure beach and the tower, (both a 15 min walk) but just set back enough you are away from all the noise.Parking - we didn’t get a free space on the street it was very busy. We parked the next street along in a paid for car park - 24hrs for £9.The accommodation has everything you need. Really nice touches for me were the guest lounge has a cold filtered water tap and shelves with extra towels and sundries should you need them. The fan in the room was appreciated as it was warm. The only small issues were shower pressure wasn’t the greatest and the duvet was really heavy - like a 15 tog - bit too much in August. But this wouldn’t stop me staying again!

Weekend stay, lovely clean room, comfy bed..... that comfy my lady spent most of the weekend snoring in it, while I then got to go out partying????.Just don't get a kebab from the takeaway over the road, I brought one back at 4am, usually taste nice at that time after 15 pints, but more like a pita full of shaved Car tyre rubber, even my woman would eat it when I left it on her bedside table while she were snoring..... & she normally eats anything.Cracking little hotel &No faults at all, would recommend.

Just needed a room to sleep and get changed in as we we're out from morning till bed time.The room was very clean and comfortableespecially the pillows (need to find these pillows for home ????).Great value for money. Location is perfect for families with young children, close enough to the peirs but not noisey at night . Would definitely recommend

In the middle of the south & central with a tram stop at the end of the road. Clean well presented family rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent value breakfast. What more could you want...

We stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel very clean and comfortable. The road was quiet so a good nights was had both nights. The children loved the bunk beds! Very close to the south shore attractions and tram stop at the end of the road for further onward travel. Overall brilliant and excellent value for money, will definitely be staying again.

The b and b is in a very quiet area but a 2 minute walk to the team stop when we arrived there we were greeted by the owners they made us feel right at home straight away they apologized that we were on the top floor but that was fine when we got to our the room the room was tidy and the beds were lovely we got asked if we wanted a breakfast which is well worth the money the owners were very approachable and I felt if I had a problem I could definitely get it dealt with by them we are already planning our next visit and will definitely stay there again

We stopped in February kids holiday soon as you walked in was so cleaned and up to date the staff were so helpful for anything you wanted we stopped in family room we had 3 children still had a lot of space and room were spotless so clean was that good we booked up again in may holidays we taking grandparents and brother and his wife to show them how good it is very good price to thanks again Danielle and Colin

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were lovely and clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was air fresheners to keep the place smelling lovely and the rooms were very warm. Would defo return. We never had breakfast so can't comment on this.

Wonderful and very comfortable stay at The Winning Post! Extremely clean and very fresh smelling throughout the whole establishment. Very fresh and pleasantly decorated. Delicious, hot and beautiful, freshly cooked breakfast each morning made to order. Wide choice of cereals, jam and marmalade available. Fresh fruit and chilled yoghurts available too. All available as self-service. Due to dietary requirements, we brought our own vegetarian sausages and these were kindly cooked to perfection! A big thank you to Daisy and all the staff involved for being so very helpful and kind to us all. We all had such a lovely stay at The Winning Post! Free secure parking; which was nearby was an absolute bonus! 5 star service and surroundings ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? We look forward to returning to this gem of a bed and breakfast establishment. Could not be faulted in any way! Thank you so very much!

We stopped here recently as we wanted to be near the pleasure Beach the winning post was very accommodating as we arrived early they let us leave our bags in the dining room then carried them too our room once it was cleaned. The room was immaculately clean could not say anything to fault the hotel the WiFi could have been stronger but that's it overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stop there again

Stayed here for 2 nights for my birthday with my partner. First time in Blackpool and loved it. Staff at the winning post were brilliant. Super friendly and always around to help you out with anything you needed. Free Private car park a few streets down that is locked and secure so my car was safe all weekend. Walking distance to everything & so close to the beach. My partner love it that much he's going back next weekend with his brother. Highly recommended!

Couldn't find parking outside the hotel so parked down the next road not realising that it is a permit only parking area, just a warning to other guests as i received a parking fine, obviously my fault. On arrival received a warm welcome. Was shown to room 5 which has a double bed and a bunk bed with an ensuite shower, basin and wc. We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children. Asked the female owner if we could borrow a travel cot for my 3 year old as there was nowhere for him to sleep. She brought the travel cot straight away. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower was powerful. Only complaint, the locking mechanism on the bathroom door was missing so you couldn't close the bathroom door. Breakfast was absolutely fine. The male owner handed me an apology letter and a £20 note, it was a refund as we had been checked into the wrong room, we should have had a bigger room. Would stay again. Thank you.

“Booked 3 rooms here for 6 adults and 3 small children, on arrival Terry and Christine greeted us with a warm welcome which lasted through out our stay, clean and tidy rooms, excellent full English breakfast, great location and an added bonus of free secure parking provided by the owner , nothing was a problem ......”

“The location was in the middle of the main strip and therefore was great for all the attractions, you can walk to them all and not worry about extra costs on transport. The accommodation was very good and was just as expected for the area, room was clean and warm. the breakfast room was nicely set out and the food was great, if you want a breakfast you do have to tell them the night before what you want and what time you will be down so they can start getting it ready for you to turn around the sittings as they are done in two.”

Had a great weekend stay, Good location, secure parking and Great breakfasts.Room was clean and tidy. and terry and his partner was brilliant couldn't of asked for a nicer couple. friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Would be happy to recommend them to anyone !!!!

We had a 2 night stay here and it was brilliant everything was perfect from arriving to leaving. Terry and his wife are a lovely couple. Nothing is any trouble for them. We will return again 😁

from arrival to end the owner goes out of there way very friendly rooms spotless beds comfy breakfast lovely would recommend and will return myself with my kids location perfect and private locked car park pretty strong plus

visited Blackpool as a foursome on numerous occasions.Having lost two of the team was difficult enough but was meant to feel welcome Room was on ground floor which after having to climb numerous amounts of stairs to get to third floor rooms was a blessing in its self breakfast was well prepared and adequate portions would definately recommend and rebook another visit

Very friendly people and accommodation was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again as good value for money too.

what can I say, we have been to many guest houses in Blackpool but the Norfolk House was one of the best yet, rooms were spacious, clean,and Terry and Christine were excellent hosts, breakfasts great, cannot fault the place, and would not hesitate to tell friends to have a break at the Norfolk
